FAQ|Domain Hosting ReviewA domain website hosting question:

I have recently been asked to make a few websites for some friends, making and charging for the website is fine, however obviously they want a domain name and web hosting as well.

I am going to be doing both of these through 123-reg.co.uk, and for these you have to pay either yearly or monthly prices. So the question is, how do I charge for this? Do I ask for their credit card details and use them for both? Or do I ask for a monthly price off of them? or what?

May 27th, 2011 2 comments

A frequently-asked query:

Hi,

I use Tumblr but would like to use domain hosting website so that I can change my web address from ___.tumblr.com to just ____.com

What is the best domain service that works with Tumblr? If it makes a difference, my website will be for music/art journalism so it will have a lot of video, music, text…lot’s of content. However, I have little technical know-how when it comes to domains so whatever I choose would have to be easily configured to my original Tumblr.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I’ve heard about hosting I could get, though, for about for a year.

I would like to have a control panel or something along with it, a domain, etc as well.
